I'm a little bit cross to say the least.
By him looking after me, taking night shifts for the penalty rates and working hard, we are penalised.
I understood that what the hubby makes has nothing to do with your case in as far as social security is concerned. I can see where Medicaid may say you earn too much as a family......
Social Security is not concerned also with any other income you (personaly)may have unless it is "Earned" through a job. I have a divorce settlement that didn't even come into play.

Congrats to anyone getting SSDI first time out! It is such a blessing not to have to keep fighting the system. Mine was denied the first time and it will take 3 years to get before a judge even though mine is listed as "likely to be approved" HA!
