Avonex site reactions?

Sounds like you may have hit a bone and maybe it's bruised. Just guessing, but you should probably call the Doc or Call the Biogen nurse. This may have happened to someone else.

Still hurting after a week is not good, so you should deffinately take some action.

This happened to me twice over the two years I was on Avonex. The office suggested warm compresses three to four times a day. It really helped to the point where the discomfort had resolved after a couple of days.
