my biggest complaint with the dye is the sudden feeling like I have to pee and the nasty taste in my mouth - ick! Oh, and I get hot feeling all over.

Make sure you drink plenty of water the rest of the day after your MRIs. The more often you have to pee, the quicker you will flush the contrast through and out of your kidneys.

I have never had side effects from that dye and drove home after each MRI.
