Default I had to swear off.....

....carbs and sugar, at least temporarily. I had bloodwork done to see how my cholesterol was, and everything came back within normal ranges.

HOWEVER, when I started looking over the results line by line, I noticed that my blood sugar was 97. Over 100 is considered pre-diabetic. Practically everyone in my family has diabetes, and I am NOT going there. Having that on top of MS would be the last straw!

So I'm trying a low carb/sugar diet for a while. I know that's where my weakness is - I love starchy foods of any kind - and I eat way more than I should. When I've done low carb before, I lost weight without really having to work too hard, so maybe I'll drop a few pounds along the way. That can't hurt anything either!

But I REALLY, REALLY miss my pasta, garlic toast, potatoes au gratin, rice.......
