A/C is a must for me now. I'm on the budget billing system so my electric bill is the same amount each month year round. It's still high but at least I know what it's going to be each month so I can budget for it.

Right there with you Sally and everyone else with this HOT, MUGGY, RAINY, YUCKY weather!! Last week the town I live in here in PA, had six inches of rain in three days!! Also two tornadoes touched down not too far away, and we're in the mountains -- strange weather all around. My daughter is flying in from Phoenix on Thursday so she'll probably think it's cool at temps in the 80's. Out there it's been well over 100. Even though they say there's no humidity, it's still REALLY HOT!!!!

Pain and more pain, stiff and more stiffness, fatigue........broken record. Blah :( Anyone here from Hawaii or familiar with the temperatures there? Someone told me she felt the best EVER when she was there on vacation. Let's GO!!! :)

I can handle cold humidity much better than hot humidity. I remember this past winter when it was rainy it didn't bother me near as much as it does when it's hot outside. I really need to move to a different climate. Where is it 72 degrees year round with low humidity? :rolleyes: Maybe I need to live in a bubble.

Temps for us are around 110. It is hot and gross out there. Dry heat or not 110 is hot! (Us desert rats aren't used to humidity so at 20% and 110 it feels muggy).

Does the heat affect me, 100% without a doubt. I hibernate in the summers.

DH and I are in NW Arizona which is a little cooler than where you are tkrik but still muggy here at 20% humidity and only 100 degrees. No rain yet this monsoon season just the humidity! :eek:

You are right about us desert rats not liking humidity; DH and I are humidity wimps!:rolleyes:

We moved here for the dry weather after flooding in Iowa and wet basements in Ohio.

I get my shopping and appointments done before 10:00 am and stay indoors with ac on or on the patio with the misters on when it starts getting warm.

Evenings are usually cool and no bugs! :D

DH and a friend went shopping yesterday at Cosco 40 miles from us and it was 123 degrees there!! They were both glad to get home to only 101 and both said how nice and cool it was here! :)

It's 91 here now and will get hotter before it starts to cool down. I think we reach our maximum temp around 5 PM. The humidity here is 41% right now but there is a 40% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.evening. We had a bad thunderstorm last night about 9 PM. We're supposed to get the line that came through Kentucky and Tennessee yesterday. I think KY got about 6 inches of rain in a very short period of time.

I'm so thankful for my A/C. I shouldn't complain about having to stay inside. At least I have a cool place to hide! And.....I've been able to keep some $$ in my pocket because I don't ever go anywhere! There's a silver lining to this cloud! :)
