Shar,
Get in there and get the IVIG going, breathing problems are just too scary. I just got out of the hospital and am still having some shortness of breath, so I made need to return for another round myself. Take care ~ Melanie

Hey All - my doctor said that the mosquito repellant could have contributed to my quick decline. Have I learned a lesson. I was also doing too much this week, too, but I don't think that was all that was going on.

I had the IVIG and my neuro kept me at the hospital all day to make sure it was going to help. It did its magic and I'm breathing better - still pretty weak but I can breathe again.

I'm going to stay down all weekend and keep resting, so hopefully I'll feel stronger in a few days. My neuro is having me come back Monday just to make sure I'm headed in the right direction.

Thanks so much for all your good words. I hope everyone is hanging in there - thinking of you all.

Thank goodness! Now, make sure that you wash any clothes that were exposed to that pesticide too before you wear them again! Or, if you can, throw them out. If you wash them (duh) the pesticide will just be in your washing machine! Geez.

I'm glad you're on the mend.

Hey shar,
Glad you are feeling better. Take it easy this weekend for sure. I'm glad to read these posts...I am new to this stuff and I sure didn't know that insect repellant could do that to people with MG. This is good to know.

Take Care
JJ
