You need to see an infectious disease doctor right away. They're the only one who can help you. Or an ER.
I hope you'll get better. Annie |

I haven't had any allergic reactions to antibiotics but I have had very negative reactions in regards to breathing and chest pressure. The only antibiotic I can tolerate is Bactrum.
However in regards to what your describing...I agree you should get to the hospital. I have learned very quickly that if you are experiencing funky or exacerbated symptoms, the best option is to go to the ER and/or get a hold of your Neurologist asap because symptoms can go from bad to scary quickly with MG. I hope you feel better soon |

Macrobid seems to make me feel weaker (I can't tell if it's the infection that is making me feel weaker, or the antibiotic, but when I use something like Keflex, i don't feel as bad as when I take macrobid.. so I assume it's the abx itself).. hope you feel better soon!

I agree with the group about going to an ER or infectious disease doc. I suggest you tackle the bacterial infection before going after the fungal stuff. I'll assume the fungal infections are topical. I've taken two of the oral meds in the past. They are highly toxic to the body (that's how they work) so you need blood work to make sure your liver/kidney function is OK. There are several prescription anti fungal creams out there. You can also try Tea Tree Oil, Manuka Oil or Tamanu Oil as natural treatments.
