MORE INFO
http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/482695 To minimize weight gain, patients are placed on a calorie-restricted, low-carbohydrate, low-sodium diet. All patients are placed on calcium (1500 mg per day) and vitamin D (400 to 800 IU per day) supplementation to minimize bone mineral loss.[9] Bone density is measured at baseline and, if satisfactory, every 6 months. Please, get yourself checked out. Infections can spread and get out of hand quickly.Remember, sometimes we can do all the right things, and still gain weight. Our bodies are rather messed up, and not all is working as it should.
But we must listen to our bodies, and do all we can to keep it as healthy as we can. I love that you're reading, and studying, but please don't wear yourself out doing so. (((gentle hugs))))) Love Lizzie |
