Ohhh Tyson, that is why my Neuro is more or less my primary care Dr. They did the same to me with the antibiotics.

If someone is not well versed about MG than they just don't get it. And the fool who did your blood gases, I would file a formal complaint against that person.

I know the Wake Forrest aka Baptist hosp was awesome when I was there last year.

As for hitting the slopes, you will know if you are up to it. I wish I could do it, living 10 minutes from the App Ski Mt, it kills me that I can't but oh well. You are young and I am sure you will find the strength, just don't over do it.

Default Hi Tyson

I hope that you are starting to feel better.

I to can not take clarithromycin as it make my symptoms worse. If I had continued with these antibiotics Im sure I would have ended up like you in hospital with a crisis.

When I phoned my GP to tell them the clarithromycin was making worse they advised me to stop taking it. Yet when I saw another Dr at the emergency walk in clinic, the Dr there tried to tell me that Clarithromycin wouldn't effect me in that way.

The problem I have is that after three years Im still without a diagnosis. Im hoping the reaction to Clarithromycin helps them determine a diagnosis.

I really hope that you are feeling stronger Tyson. I really feel for you, MG is hard enough at the age of 36 let alone a youngster like you.

Love
Rach

Gee Tyson, You might want to see how you're feeling when you got out of the hospital first and take it on a day by day basis. You will need to have been feeling good and strong for a while before taking on ski trip...I would think. Having been a skiier all my life until MG hit, I know the strength it takes. Good luck and I hope you're up for it by then. Keep us posted.

Hugs,
Pat
