Default Thank you all for everything

Looks like all of your thoughts and prayers paid off- Im out of the ICU, off bipap for now, and can breathe quite well on my own.

I just took my first dose of cellcept, i feel kinda funny. Not sure if its cus i spent 11 hours in the ER last night, then was tied down to so many machines last night, or what.
But i feel weird.

But, I had more plasmapheresis today, and did well.

I cant wait to get out of here, im getting sick of everyone knowing my name, from the previous times ive been in here.

But im glad im on the floor now, not in picu.

Thank you all again.

I'm glad that you're feeling well enough to be out of the ICU, and off of the bipap, and your breathing is easier, Tyson.

I hope that things continue to get better from here- you really deserve it!

Hey Tyson,

Glad to hear you're out of the ICU and breathing much better. You've sure been going through a rough time, but hopefully things will be looking up for you now. I haven't taken cellcept, so I don't know if that's a side effect or not. Maybe someone here can help you with that. Did you take it on an empty stomach? Take good care and let us know how you're doing.

Big Hugs,
Pat

Tyson,

Let them spoil you, lie back and relax and get stronger. As we all know this illness is scary but it looks like you have good people around you.

So get stronger soon and keep smiling!

Thanks for all your support and encouraging words. Your all so nice, and for that I thank you.

I don't really how I ended up w another crisis when I didn't even excersize. I did everything I was supposed to.

1 thing I will tell you is that my regular doctor messed me up. I had a sinus infection last week, she stupidly gave me clarithromacin, saying she looked it up on the sheet that says whether myasthenics can have or not, and it wad not
on
there. Well guess what, it was. I had been taking that for a week, and it was slowly depleting my lungs, luckily I went to the er. Just goes to
show you how little even a DUKE family doctor knows about mg.

I was doing so well, and here I am
again, laying in the hospital bed. Not fair.

I have a baruim xray test tomorrow to see if I nerd surgery on something near my esphogus, that happened during my thymectomy w scar tissue because now I feel like everything gets stuck down by my heart.

I had an anxiety attack last night, along with a little
breathing crisis, I had too many visitors yesterday. This ***** from respritory was being so rude, jammed a needle for a blood gas test in my wrist and it really hurt for the next 4 hours. Then took my bipap away.

But I love the attending neuro this time, he thinks the attack was not all in my head.

Anyway- I have plans to go skiing next mont, and with all my plasmapheresis sessions done, do you think I will be able to?

I'm on cellcept and back up on my 60mg of pred.

Hope you all are well, and thank you again for helping me out. Sorry for the ranting!

Wow Tyson! It was those antibiotics that sent you spinning. I really hope everything will turn around for you quickly and that you might be able to do a bit of skiing.

Unfortunately, there are no guarentees - as you already know.

Look, at this stage of the game, you have more experience with 'crisis' than many of us. And you are actuely aware of your body and how well (or poorly) it is responding at any given time.

I truly hope you can ski - - 10 hours a day if want! But what I hope for even more is that you will LISTEN to whatever your body is telling you - - - even if it isn't what you want to hear. We surely don't want any breathing challenges on the top of a snowy mountain!!
