I have been having some around my eye pain., as my eye is drooping alot and some facial pain, and facial drooping., last night I had muscles jerking in my arm and back of my neck.......is this all from the MG, and the stress and heat I have been experiencing lately?

I honestly don't know but I would suggest calling your Dr as soon as possible. Only your Dr could tell you this for sure. If you are having a flare-up do to work than maybe you could consider going on disibility?

I hope you start feeling stronger soon!

My neuro told me to expect 'twitching' of muscles to happen with the Mestinon. And I have read that some docs determine the dosage of Mestinon for a patient by documenting how much causes 'twitching' and then backing off that amount just a bit.

If it continues, I'd check it out with your doc just to be sure.

Hope you feel better,
Sue

Hey Nancy,

It very well could be. This would be a great time to see your Neuro and have him see what you are going through. I'm sure he would at least give you a note for work. I know it's not easy getting into a Neuro right away, but you could see if he has a cancellation or you could just call his office and ask that he call you back so you can explain your symptoms and what's been going on. Keep us posted and good luck. Feel better!

Hugs,
Pat
