So glad to hear that you are off of pred, Alan. I was on pred for one year and I just took my last pill on Jan. 13/10. I truly hope that I don't have to go on it again. Sometimes it is necessary, unfortunately. I am starting to take some of the weight off but I have a LONG way to go.

Hi Alan,
its great your off the pred. I do hope you get to Australia, it is a gorgeous place, although summer time is rather hot, and tiring. Hope things keep improving for you Kate

I can normally take weight of easy but having taken 28lbs off in October in Two weeks before the pred clicked in It has been a struggle since and water retension becomes a real problem. I have a waking seat cane and use it to get around two or thee miles intwo hours or more by sitting down when the numbness in my right leg kicks in. Even slow take one wrong food and my weight increases not decreases. I hope you have more success in your reduction for your Ozz trip |
