Default Weird smells since coiling of aneurysm

Drs cannot figure out why I have these weird smells on various occasions. I have had all types of tests. All I know is I did not have this problem before my procedure a year and a half ago. I find the smelling increases when I am really tired. feels like something going on around eye area when the smells are happening. Sometime smells are plesant, sometimes not so pleasant, never welcomed. Anyone else have anything like this? Thanks

I have had something like this happen to me, but it was many years ago and has nothing to do with MG.

When my allergies started, before I learned how to recognize or treat the symptoms, I got lots of infections in my nose and throat and even had bronchitis a few times. I learned that when I started smelling odd smells, smells that seemed to be inside my nose, that it was time to get antibiotics because I had an infection. I have since learned to recognize my allergies long before they get so bad, but I still remember smelling those odd scents in my nose.

I hope this helps.

Weird smells, nausea, pain to the side of eye, throbbing/pulsing artery in your temple? MIGRAINE!!! Weird smells are part of my "aura". I don't get tunnel vision -- but, sometimes I swear I smell cigarette smoke (and nobody is in the room) or perfume (again, no one is in the room) -- in a little while, I get a headache.
