Teresa,

I'm a bit north of Galveston - and love the outdoors. I pick my times and have been able to continue yardwork and golf. Can't always complete what I start, but I do what I can.

Have found that sleep is extremely restorative - - I can do much more in a day if I have plenty of sleep (at night and even the occasional afternoon nap!).

Also ice. I wrap ice in a water proof neckband and wear it outdoors- - works wonders!! And finally, indoors or out - - stay hydrated. You simply can not drink enough water.

I also have permission from neuro to boost my mestinon dose substantially before I start outdoor activities (otherwise, I don't think I could handle it).

Hang in there! I'm afraid it's going to be a very hot summer!!

Sue
