I too thought of shingles, but it would seem that they would have known it was that when he went to the Er. At least I hope they would.
Shingles are horrible! I've had them a couple times. Horrible. Myrsa can also cause pain, and a rash like that, this is why I wondered if this is what they were thinking when they said skin infection. Please let us know Tyson, either way, you could wash with a disinfectant you can get over the counter at a drug store. For the life of me the name has slipped my mind. Ask the pharm. he should know.
