Tyson,
So sorry to hear that you are still having so many problems. I think you are making a wise decision by taking a year off from college. You are very frustrated and that is understandable but this is something that appears to be best for you right now. When you return, you will be able to return in better health which will allow you to do so much better in your studies.

Your dream isn't over, it's just delayed.

Hey man,

If it makes you feel any better, I was discharged from the hospital last friday from the month-long stay, and I'm also going to take a leave-of-absence (or just withdraw from all my classes) for at least this semester.

The only difference is I'm in grad school so i guess graduation time greatly varies and it's not a big deal.

But even for college, many people leave in the middle and come back later, it's not abnormal at all. It is the health that's most important. Look at it this way: you want to be able to live normal for the next 60 years of your life, this semester is such a tiny thing compared to that.
