Question: I am supposed to have ivig this weekend but I cancelled and said i would have it next weekend...but I am coughing up green phlegm filled w some blood...

I am working for my mom and I want to just rest but she insists that I go with her..

But I was going to go home this weekend- but I think I may need to do the infusions if I can't rest these last two days before the weekend? I just need to mentally get away from my mom and go visit my dad and brother but they will only do the infusions here....

I'm not sure What to do...advice would be great. Thanks.

Hi Tyson,
I can understand that you need a break from your mom and want to get away but at what cost to your physical health? I, personally, wouldn't cancel the IVIG. Holding it off for a week can really make a difference with MG. A difference that could swing on the bad side. I've moved my IVIG's up before but never back. How long have you been coughing up green phlegm with blood?

Please make the decision based on your health not on your emotions.

Loving Hugs

Shari

Shari- I agree w you..I'm going to try to have it set up this weekend again. It was yellow for a couple days now turning to green as has some blood in it. I've been getting bloody noses from the prednisone and this time of year...

I'm
Not super weak but can't afford to get that weak...

Thanks
