Hi, Switch. Give Valeant Pharmaceuticals a call. They make the brand name Mestinon.

Your state may have an assistance program as well for help with health or drugs. You simply have to look up your state's government website or call them to find out what the options are.

I'm sorry your boyfriend has no health care. Do you know that companies have to offer a COBRA plan in between jobs/health care? You still have to pay but it is often much less than getting a plan outright.

It is a very serious situation to not have medications you need for MG. I really hope you can find a solution! Both of you, hang in there.

Annie

See if his neuro will let him try the generic. It is pennies on the dollar compared to brand name MESTINON. I have been on the generic for about 2 years and it's working for me...even though my neuro would prefer that I were on the expensive pills.
