Thanks so much. You really hit the nail on the head! As my dad constantly reminds me - it's the PRACTICE of medicine. I tell him I don't want to be practiced on anymore

I think good doctors are invaluable, even if they also end up being helpless in some circumstances.

And the balance between risk and benefit is both important and difficult to maintain.
