Me again!!! I´m sure I am just a little overexcited that after 4 long years there are also others somewhere on the planet that can understand the effects of fatiguable muscle weakness. But I also think doctors should be more aware of patterns. With me each time a new muscle group was affected the doctor decided that I had concocted a brand new disease and all in my head
I am in remission from severe myasthenic weakness but found it interesting that the finer motor skills have been a little more persistent. The writing samples attached are very much improved since last year, nevertheless they reflect the same patterns of weakness which affected other skeletal muscles progressively during a four year period.
1. Handwriting in the morning hours when least fatigued
2. Handwriting in the afternoon (during all the samples I was writing slowly and here I got out of breath whilst writing)
3. Handwriting deteriorates but improves with small rests
4. Handwriting improves with cooling of the whole arm and hand
