Ok, so last weekend we were at an art's fair in town and there was a person there doing handwriting analysis. I asked them about it figuring it was a scam. She said if my handwriting did not paint an accurate picture of my personality, It was free, otherwise $10.00. She then said my friends would judge. I had 4 friends so I figured sure.
All she had me do was sign my name on a big piece of paper. I thought she would have me write a paragraph or something. SO, I ended up paying her the $10.00. Not only because my friends said she was right, but because I thought she was right. It's VERY interesting to me. I want to learn more about it. With it she knew I was divorced, but in a unique relationship (I'm living with my ex-wife). She knew I was OCD, she knew I was optimistic, she knew I looked at the bright side of things. she knew I was type A, she knew I was from a smaller family. she knew my parents were still married, she knew my parents were both alive. WOW WOW WOW. Has anyone else had it done?

There are two very good books you might enjoy:
1) Michelle Dresbold: http://www.michelledresbold.com/ This site and her book are fascinating. 2) Andrea McNichol http://www.brainprints.com/ I have both books and used them over the years to help detect forgeries which I had at work commonly. (Prescription forgeries) Both use new attitudes about psychology, energy as it translates into actions from the brain into the hand and arm. Gone are the old days of handwriting analysis! Can't say what type you had, but if you are interested, I guarantee you will love both of these books!

My husband says I now have the handwriting of a serial killer since MS. I used to have a nice flow with beautiful penmanship, but now its all shakey and scribbly and quick.
Im glad you got yours analyzed. ![]()

As long as you don't have "manic D's" or the "Felon's Claw" or "balloon upper loops" you should be okay.
Modern handwriting takes into account today for illness. PD also shows up in handwriting.

HI Earl: Yes, my dear, handwriting is a form of self expression and also reveals the health condition of the writer. I'm working on a presentation entitled "Health and Handwriting - The Mind Body Connection". I also have done a correlation study of the MMPI and handwriting which can tell people what kind of crazy they are. Best Wishes.

If you learn the basics of this new way of graphology, you will be surprised at the notes you receive in the mail from now on from friends!
Both of these books overlap a bit... with similar interpretations. Michelle is more public with her interpretations of famous celebrity/political types. Her book is mostly about criminality, but has some wacky types in it too. Michelle's book is very interesting...I guarantee you, you will find it hard to put down. A whole Chapter on Jon Benet Ramsay kidnapping note, for example! Also interesting is the Jack the Ripper chapter. I am very guarded with "felon's claw" types... sometimes it is a mild form and has an simple explanation , but often it is revealing of dishonesty in mature writers.

What does this "felon's claw" look like? Thanks to email and the computer I realize that I really don't have too many handwritten notes or things from others. ![]()

This explains it:
http://handwritinguniversity.com/new...rs/122104.html In the McNichol book, which came first, she explained it was named because convicts in prisons were found to have this trait commonly. That is why it is called what it is. You better not have this trait, Kitty... ![]() Dresbold also points out hooks on the tops of letters, and when then occur alot...in a sample, denote cruelty. I think the most useful traits are those we look for in new friends or those who want a relationship, etc... deception, cruelty, aggression, show up in the writing and can be a good tool for some people.
