Correction:

they fully know they are peddling poison, but the leased Merc. in the driveway has payments forever.

i paid cash for mine and made the $ without doing harm to others.

It may be just my bias based on what you've posted in this forum, I disagree with most of what you're saying, but it appears to me that you seize onto partial concepts and are missing big picture of what people are telling you. For example, your comment regarding Soy... yeah, the oil from the soy bean is really slippery and stable so it is used as an effective and inexpensive lubricant. People used to use olive oil for lamps... doesn't mean that it cannot be used for other purposes.
