My husband was sitting reading his newspaper a few days ago whilst I was busy rummaging through these!....
Brain cooling, heat intolerance and cranial veins http://www.upright-health.com/brain-cooling.html CNS fatigue provoked by prolonged exercise in the heat http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2...?dopt=Abstract Brain temperature and exercise performance http://ep.physoc.org/content/97/3/333.full I´m now also looking for some more good books to curl up with by the fire and get through the long cold winter months that we have here. Are you reading something good? Anacrusis |

What are your interests? If you have any interest in Science, please consider
Physics Of The Universe by Michio Kaku, some really facinating future things. I am a book worm, no quesion about it. Send me what your favorites are. "State of Wonder" was my favorite so far this year, by Ann Patchett. Hope to hear from you. ginnie ![]() |

I spend hours on my computer working on Family history. I enjoy the old photos the most. Second helping others find their "cousins".

I read with interest that you like doing family history. Is there any chance you could help me? I am adopted. Laws are not retroactive, and I was always told I had to go to court for my adoption history. I know my mothers real name, and the location of my birth, little else. I was not ever told the medical situation of my family, nor anything about possible sibblings. My folks that adopted me, never prevented me from trying to find out. It was the cost of going to court. If you can't, or don't care to, I certainly understand. I have always held out hope, that someday I would find out the truth. ginnie

Good post, Anacrusis. I'm currently reading my eyelids.
When I can read - though not usually books because holding them is difficult and printer's ink makes me sneeze - I'm like you. Anything historical, science-related or, well, pretty much anything that I can learn about the world. My most recent book was, "The Source Field Investigations" by David Wilcock. Just the chapter about research on plants being hooked up to polygraph machines to see if they elicit an emotional response was worth the price of the book. Be cautious of Ancestry.com because they will fool you into believing you are having a one-month only subscription but then keep charging you month after month. You literally have to cancel before the end of that first month to not be charged! Ginnie, I'm sorry you don't know where your ancestors are from. I don't know the laws in the state you're in but there must be a way you can get your adoption records! I'll bet a lawyer - even a pro bono one - could get them for you! BTW, I like Michio Kaku too! I will dig out my adoption records tomorrow. I appreciate you even taking a look at it. I am 61, and my chances that my mom is still on earth...well you know the issue. Never too late to try. Thank you ever so much for even considering this. ginnie
