The warmer weather (50 degrees) has worsened my symptoms. Both of my eyes are now droopy. I also had breathing trouble and extreme fatigue episode triggered by a warm shower. That has not happened to me in months. I dread spring coming.

The waiting game seems endless. Sorry, I just had to vent. It scarce me to think that a temperature change like that can trigger such an exaccerbation.

We were up to 70 over the weekend with rain in Tennessee and I ran my air conditioner all weekend. I don't care that it is January, I can't breathe when the weather is warm and muggy. Love, Love, Love air contioning!

I haven't really experienced a full Las Vegas summer with my symptoms yet, but we're in a rather cold snap this week (our high today was somewhere around 36...) and I've just been dragging! Can't wait for it to warm up a bit! :P

I agree and I find that it´s really odd that slight temperature changes can have that much power exacerbating or alleviating symptoms in either direction.

We have frozen lakes to ice skate on at the moment and the ski season has just started.

We don´t expect any lukewarm temperatures before May. I will be interested to see how the warmer weather affects me because the cold worked like Mestinon in November!

I used to loose half a day´s energy in a hot shower and get very myasthenic limbs afterwards, or get ill for 2 whole days after riding a couple of minutes in my older parent-in-law´s car - especially with that warm circulating air necessary for them - but disastrous for me!

During a CT scan a few year ago it was incredibly hot in the room even with all the fans. I could see it coming and managed to prevent a huge flare up by telling the technicians. They immediately opened all six windows which was very kind and it proactively saved my b*tt

Last summer´s heat seemed to trigger lots of double vision and some other newer milder symptoms.

I am very interested to see if my predictions are right despite new symptoms I´ve been feeling better very gradually since worst peak some years ago. So I wonder if the heat may trigger less this summer - or perhaps even, not at all.

the heat makes me melt!!! Showers make me like a lump of jello, and the Texas heat - my face looks like it's melting off!! In fact, I feel like I have been much better in the past 2 months or so, not having an exacerbation (of whatever I have).. and just realized it's been cold here for a while - quite nice!! Going outside in the cold is like a facelift!

I wake up every morning with my face drooping and weak back muscles. Then I realized that I was getting over heated while sleeping. Here's my problem -- I can't sleep when I'm cold, but my muscles get weak if I'm warm. My muscles recover fairly quick after I get out of bed, and I take a Mestinon too which I also take before getting into a shower. I don't dare take a bath for fear that I'd never get out of the tub.

I live in Arizona and the summers are hot. I stay indoors most of the time to avoid getting weak, but this summer coming up will be my first summer taking Mestinon.

I've my own air conditioner that is a very important part of me coping in the hot weather as breathing becomes so laboured also when having a very hot bath I then also struggle to be able to use my muscles in drying but in England it's never that differcult as what you have to cope with
