I just wanted to tell you...
Having sat on it for a week and read up on the various research of Athlete's Overtraining Syndrome, something doesn't feel right. I can't find anything anywhere that says you would get any of the symptoms that I have with AOS. I have been trying a pacing program and it has made me frustrated, unhappy and more weak. I have no idea what to do. |

STOP exercising!
If you have MG, exercise won't be good for you right now. If you are obsessive about exercise, that's not good either. If you stop exercising, you'll know - after some amount of time - whether it was the "training" or a disease state. I'm sorry you are going through all of this. You need a sensible approach and, right now, the only sensible thing is to take away the one thing that they claim is making you ill, in my opinion. It might be the only way you can get help. And I hope you do. ![]() Annie |

Thank you for your support Annie, it means a lot!
![]() I'm in a bit of a catch 22: If I stop exercising I am given the 'of course you will feel weak if you are not exercising' routine. If I exercise, I'm told that's the cause of the weakness. I stopped exercising for 3 weeks over Xmas. I felt much better, but my symptoms did not disappear. I guess I would need to give it longer than that, but I was told by the physio and neuro not to stop exercising! ARGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! ![]() |

Who is monitoring you whilst you do this exercise? ....Your cat?
When you have symptoms as serious as you describe there should be some serious monitoring, observing, questioning & recording going on! Thatīs what I think. But then who am I to know anything about anything? ![]() ![]() |

If there is the slightest chance that exercise could make you worse, don't do it. Do like everybody else. Sit down. Eat a doughnut. Maybe some chips. Please put your exercise program aside.
If you actually have MG, the exercise will make you worse. I cannot hold up for much exercise. I will simply fall down. Please don't exercise.
