Following the suggestion of mrsD, I am posting my question here as I have under Peripheral Neuropathy Nerve problems.
Please go there and read my post because I am trying to determine if the needle portion(shock & needle) of the nerve test's were done correctly. The needle portion of the test was as I have described in both sessions which were 2 years apart and by the same doctor and I am of the opinion that he should not have forced movement in the needle test. He seemed to be trying to obtain some reading that he wasn't getting by the movement that I could do. When he would get what he wanted on the monitor he would hit a key on keyboard and I assume this would record the reading at that moment. |

Hi, FirstOldOne. Welcome. I responded to your post on the PN forum.
Like I said, it's hard to tell which test they did on you. You should get your records and find out. Come on back and let us know what the results said. And ask if they ran the Acetylcholine Receptor Antibody Test or the MuSk Antibody Test too. It sounds like you need an MG expert and some more doctoring. I'm sorry you have so much going on. ![]() Annie |
