Default Looking for a Doc in Dayton Ohio

Hello all ,my wife and I have been looking for answers for her for 7 years. I believe she has seronegative MG and we finally got someone to order MuSK antibodies. We have started a trial of Mestinon. But we need someone in or close to Dayton to man up and give us a diagnosis. any recommendations. Thanks, John. PS I am a nurse and paramedic with 20 plus years of experience.

Hi, John and Kristia. Welcome to the forum! I guess it's been a little quiet lately, sorry about that.

I don't know of any experts in OH but sometimes a simple search might help.

I know the Cleveland Clinic is quite a trek but you might get at least diagnostic help there. It might be worth a phone call to see if they know of any MG specialists in your area. You never know until you ask!

I'm really sorry your wife has gone through such an ordeal, although I'm not exactly surprised.

Is there anything else we can help with? If she has MG, there's a lot to learn about it. How is she doing in general? Is the Mestinon helping?

I hope you'll get help, Kristia. It's very hard not knowing what is going on with your body. Hang in there.
