Default Heart Vibrations

Hi There!
For the past three months I have noticed that I get a fluttering/vibrating/ feeling on the left side of my chest near my heart. I have had MG now for five years and have been on 60mg of Mestinon four times a day and do IVIG every other week. Has anyone else out here in 'cyberland' experienced this? It has me a bit concerned.

Thanks

Have you checked your heart rate and blood pressure during those episodes? Don't ignore heart issues. It could be something serious.

It could be a valve issue, like the mitral valve. Please see a cardiologist for an evaluation! Do you have any thyroid issues?

I don't have thyroid issues but my mom does. She has a hyperactive one and my dad has a faulty mitral valve. I've been looking online for what it could be and have had no success. Thanks everyone.

Quit looking on the Internet and ask a cardiologist to help you. The heart is nothing to mess with. And it could be something else, like atelectasis of the lungs or something else. We aren't doctors and there's no way for us to say what's going on. Please, ask your primary doctor for their advice and a referral.

Well, I went to see my neuro yesterday and told him of this sensation around my heart. He didn't seem too concerned and said it's not my heart but could me the side effect of Mestinon. I should decrease the dosage and see if that helps. I think I will talk to my GP about all this. What's everyone's take on it?
