Default mestinon overdose

How did you guys figure out when you were taking to much mestinon, the symptoms are the same of an overdose as an underdose.

I accidentally took twice what I was supposed to. My tongue felt tingly and thick. Then I got screamingly urgent diarrhea. Shall we call it projectile? I had trouble talking. I believe that my pupils were constricted, but I am not sure because my vision was fuzzy. I also had muscle twitches. I was not terribly weak as far as walking as I would be if I forgot my pill. I walked to my car and drove home from work. Within an hour I was ok.

When my prednisone started to kick in I needed to drop my mestinon dose. I got numbness and tingling in my lips, tongue and roof of my mouth. I also had pretty bad nausea and extreme weakness.

The maximum amount of mestinon, I was on was 90mg four times a day and 180 at night. I once double dosed by accident and felt no ill effects. In fact, I have never experienced any of the bad side effects from mestinon. My mestinon starts wearing off about 3 to 3.5 hours after dosing. I can always tell without looking at my watch, because I start to experience excessive sweating and weakness like i am going to faint. It reminds me it is almost time to take my mestinon.

When I took too much Mestinon, I got random (painless) muscle twitches.
