Is that 800mg of ibu for the whole day? If so, you can take much more than that.

I would consider adding in some natural anti-inflammatory supplements like a good fish oil and a curcumin supplement. Rest any joints that are visibly red and swollen as continuing to use them when they are flared up will result in more joint damage. Use heat and ice alternatively, always ending with ice.

Start calling the rheumy's office daily to find out if there are any cancellations. Hopefully they can find you an earlier appt.

Sorry you are hurting!

I take the 800mg every 6 hours, I haven't tried heat, I am going to try that.
Thanks

Have you tried glucosamine/chondroitin supplements? Some people say they help a lot.

I've been reading some impressive things about Serrapeptase as well, and just started my arthritic 11 year old dog on it this morning.

Hope you are feeling better SOON!
