Default Co payments for IVIG

I have tried to post yesterday but maybe today it will work. I have had one round of IVIG and need another. The co payment was a shock. Does anyone have suggestion, websites or information that helped you get assistance in paying for IVIG. I have insurance just need co pay help.

Thanks,
Debbie Sonomagirl

I am fortunate at the moment I have no co-pay since April 1 I have the highest coverage Blue Cross (Florida) PPO plan which I purchased through Healthcare.gov (so you may want to look into switching for 2015?) . Prior though I had lots of issues and had been told that pharmacy that provides IVIG might have info or be able to provide financial assistance so check with them. Also how about local MDA clinic? Last try calling manufacturer direct, who knows, cant hurt?

Thanks for your response. I will look at pharmacy and the clinic. I have BCBS in SC PPO Plan that I get as a retired State employer. Thanks again.
