Here are the details of my second tapper. I will be seeing my neurologist on Tuesday. Any comments on this tapper will be appreciated.
Drop Prednisone dose by 6 mg each two-week step, beginning Monday August 18th. I have been on 60 mg a day for a month. New Prednisone Tapper Daily Dose
By the end of December, I will have been on a daily 1500 mg of Cellcept dose for 5 months. The question is, where along this calendar should I make a reservations for my room at the O'Connor Hospital Orthro/Neuro Spa? ![]() -Mark- Last edited by Panorama; 08-12-2014 at 11:45 PM. |

Mark, There's no way to tell when you should book that room.
I urge you to see an endocrinologist soon. The issue of an adrenal crash is very real for you. They might need to monitor you as much (or more) as your neuro does. And an enlarged adrenal is not normal. Is it even working? If not, then how is the kidney that it's sitting on top of? Lots of questions you need to be asking! If I were to guess, I'd say that things start to become dicey around the 25 mg. point. You might need to have a longer taper, and a smaller drop in dose (i.e., 2 mg. at a time). Only time will tell what your body can handle. I don't think anyone can give you an answer on this one; except your body, that is. Annie |

With all the blood test I took in the hospital, I am sure they would have noticed something. But it is high up on my list of concerns. -Mark- Last edited by Panorama; 08-13-2014 at 01:25 AM. |
