Mark, If you have Pred-induced diabetes, it is still diabetes and taking sugar out of your diet will help, but won't get rid of it. I hope you'll go see an endo!

Also, hip pain can be from a bad mattress, sitting funny in a chair, crossing your legs too often, stenosis, and so many other things.
