Hi, I'm new here and have Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Prior to my Hashi diagnosis I was tested for the acetylcholine binding anti-bodies. My binding globulin result was 0.1 (high) and the reference range was <0.1. I had a nerve conduction study done by a physiatrist which came out 'normal.'

Does my lab result look like I have the diagnosis of MG? None of the MDs, including my GP, a neurologist and the physiatrist say I have MG.

I read your intro post and we have some similarities and some opposites. I also have a lot of arm weakness. My EMG was postitive and my binding antibodies were normal. I am waiting for the blocking and other tests. Already my neuro has said that I will be difficult to diagnose. I also have Hashimoto's.
Based on what I have read, I don't think they can absolutely rule you out as yet if you are symptomatic but you probably need to keep looking for other reasons for your arm weakness. Just don't let them stop looking for answers - keep pressing until you know why. I am in the testing phase now. I am on my way today for the chest MRI to look at my thymus.

The problem with lab tests for MG is that a significant percentage of us are negative on the blood work, and even negative on the EMG/ I have even read of MGers who are negative on just about everything available, but are still diagnosed with MG based on symptoms and the fact the Mestinon helps them. This confusing illness of ours is very individual, no two alike.
