Gumby posted some good info on pain in MG on the "Do all neuro's suck" thread. I thought I would raise the question in its own thread so we can start building up a cache of information for future MGers use.
So..... Do you have pain with your MG? Is it out and out pain, just aching, or what? Does it only come on when you are fatigued? Do you get muscle spasms or cramps with it? Speaking for myself, I do have muscle ache. I never get real pain, but I can get severe aching in my neck muscles when they are very fatigued. I never feel the aching unless my muscles are fatigued. While I get muscle cramps, I'm not convinced they are a product of the MG fatigue, although I have noticed that the muscle of one leg, which tends to collapse when very fatigued, will get very hard and achy when it is really fatigued. I know at that point to be wary of the "rubber leg" effect, and to have my cane handy. Hugs,
