Yeah, I think of IVIG as "stamina in a bottle" , works wonders.

I've never done any illegal drugs, but used to say that "tensilon" would be my drug of choice..if it wasn't for that little itty bitty problem of it being able to kill me...:rolleyes

Smile Holle mm80!

IV IG is the stuff of legend! "Go go" juice! Liquid gold!

Doesn't it feel GREAT to FEEL great? Stupid question, but I think most of us don't realize just how awful we feel until we've had something like that to "perk us up"!!!!!!!!

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy for you! How often are you going to get the IV IG? How many mLs? Do you have a PICC line in place?

You know, a lot of neuro's still won't recommend it, b/c they still consider it too "experimental" - all I know is that it TRULY saved my life!

Keep up the GREAT feeling and happy posts!

Big, big hugs!
Erin

Congratulations! Funny how we don't know just how bad we were until we're good again sometimes, huh! Thank you so much for this post. It is so good to hear someone doing so well! I hope it lasts a long, long, long time for you!

Smile Just wanted to see how you are doing.....

Just checking in to see how you are - has the IV IG given you tons more energy? Are you making sure to drink plenty of fluids? Does your neuro have you on a plan to keep this up for a while?

If so, you MAY want to have a PICC line put in - less fuss and muss.........

Tkae care!
