Hi Alan,
I'm thinking you should see your neuro. I went on azathioprine about 16 months ago and had no pain or any problems. My dose is higher than yours (150 mg daily taken in two 75 mg doses) but I think the dose is determined by your weight. I also had loads of bloodwork and it always came back normal. Anyways I just think that your reaction seems a bit extreme and it would certainly worry me. Hope everything else is good with you!

Hi Alan,

I use to be on azathioprine, but didn't have any pain with it or headaches or feeling weak. I did have loads of blood tests tho!!
Maybe a call to his office voicing your concern might help put your mind at ease. Sorry I couldn't be of more help
take care
Kate

Thumbs up Hey Alan!

Hey stranger! It was so great to hear from you, though I am sorry it is b/c you don't feel well. I am also on Imuran right now - just cut down from 150 mgs a day to 100, but have not experienced any real pain due to it.

I would call your dr and see what is going on.

Other than that, how are you? Is your mom there? How is your daughter? Did she get all moved in?

Big hugs!
Erin
