Heart Hi Joanmarie!

Hey sweetie!

I start my 60 mgs of pred, so we'll see how that goes! I hate the fact that it makes me so shaky, but NEED the boost right now!

I'm going to call my pastor and see if he will stop by tomorrow for some prayer.......only He will help me through this!

I NEED a hysterectomy, I'm just afraid of MORE surgery! Isn't that silly?

You'd think after the thymectomy any other surgery would be a piece of cake, but I am so tired of being in the hosp all the time!

How are YOU feeling?

Big hugs!
Erin

Heart Hi Rach!

Hey honey! How are you? I'm trying to stay out of the heat! Yuck! Has it finally cooled down there? The ONLY positive about Lilli moving up north is that I can go there when it is COLD! I'll be the only person without a jacket in the airport - just relaxing and having a BLAST! I say that now, b/c when it is 50 degrees here in Texas, it is considered COLD, but I have never experienced up north cold.......

I'm going to ask my dr about the pill - I think that is a GREAT idea!

I am sooooo happy to hear you are having a BETTER day! THat is AWESOME! I am as well! Just got off the phone with my dr who agreed to allow me to go 60/40 on pred, so 2morrow I'll go to 60 every other day - we'll see how that goes! I was FINALLY losing some weight, but it is pointless to be thinner if I can't DO anything! LOL!

You just RELAX and enjoy it! You DESERVE it, honey!

Can't wait to hear from you!

Love,
ERin

Did you speak to the dr about going on a progesterone only pill (mini pill) so that it stops your periods? I know prenisolone can mess your periods up, with mine they just stopped.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Im having a better day, but have done absolutely nothing!

Lots of love
Rach

Erin,
I am so sorry you are having such a rough time with feeling so bad and still hurting about your niece. I am the same way when I get upset about something. I am no good at letting it go until I can come to terms with it.

I too have had two periods a month for the past two months. I have never done this before. I wondered if it had something to do with starting the Imuran. I don't know. I know I don't like it.

I hope you get a good nights rest and are feeling better really soon! I will be praying for you. Take care.

Heart Hi Ckitty!

Hey hon! Thank you so much! It will get better! I already FEEL better @ 60 mgs - weight be darned! LOL!

I think the reason that I am having such a hard time is that this came out of left field - I truly had no idea that they were planning on leaving - none whatsoever! To be honest, I think I'm still in shock.

Our periods have got to do with the extra meds!It jusy amazes me how many pills I take and hoe expensive they are - I'm @ about 30+ right now, just to keep my MG @ bay - isn't that nuts?

I know that once my plasma exchanges are done regularly I'm going to FEEL AMAZING! I just know it! God has been so merciful to me. I have so very much to be thankful for. Every time I start to feel really down, I think of all of the amazing people i've met @ the hosp or Cancer Care Centers and it puts it all in perspective. Don't get me wrong, there is something cleansing about crying and there are days I do, but I am so blessed to BE HERE!

How are YOU doing? Are you feeling better?

Love,
Erin
