Thanks for askin'bout her mamma~

what should have been a ten minute surgery, turned into a hour and fifteen minute. They went in to take out the internal stent, discovered the stone was partially blocking her bladder...and zapped the big stone to small pieces and discovered a "few" other ones in her kidney. Soooooo, now she has until tommorow, an external stent and may have to goback in as early as tommorow( this week for sure if they havent passed on their own) for a lithotripsy of her new stones, followed by a third stent. She's VERY mad at the world right now. I have to agree with her there....a 16 yr old shouldnt have stents!

Never a dull nor boring moment in this house, eh?

What's on your agenda, mamma for thanksgiving?! Any good recxipes to share wit us?!

Please tell Lauren that I agree with her.

I am making a small pillow and stuffing names inside it of friends like you, so that I won't feel so terribly alone. I'm also making a little pocket and putting a tiny address book in it with phone numbers and email addresses. Perhaps Lauren would like to do the same. I may put some little treasures in it, too.

I have a great recipe for pie crust the secret from my mom. I don't celebrate since Mikey died. Now, with surgery on his anniversary...I hate November.

Maybe Lauren and I can put out a petition to go straight from October to December and eliminate this month altogether.

Love to you,
mama

LOL....I tend to agree with you, Mamma about November. Isnt it "one of those months"? Lauren if she had her way, would have it December year round. I agree with her..I just love the smell f a good christmas tree, but more importantly...the kindness shared with others~

I love that idea of your pillow. Neat idea! I might have Lauren try to sew one..She needs a great project to work on, other then her computer I love your ideas you have~ Wish we lived closer, Shirley too. I envision us all sitting around a table drinking hot chocolate and laughing so hard!

I so wish that we were closer - you, shirley, lexi, and so many more. I've got 23 acres...we could build!

Tell Lauren to use fleece - it is warm and cuddly - and no turned over hems. Plus if you make a little pocket out of thin material and tack it inside, you can velcro it shut and no one will know your secrets.
