Default Brokenhearted mom

Hello all! I am new and very excited to be here with you all! I think I've slept a total of maybe 10hrs in the last week so please be patient. I thought I'd already introduced myself too but I'm not sure. I am really here for my daughter and her multitude of health issues but I guess you should know I am not well either. I've been diagnosed for 12yrs so mine is easy to explain. I have Lupus which in turn has given me vasculitis of the central nervous system. Lots of issues as you can imagine. My daughter has kidney disease, endometriosis, scoliosis with lumbar hyperlordosis, rotation of lower spine and countless other issues......It's the severe pain since age 3 that has me lost and confused. Mirinda walks with cane and walker a lot here at home and cannot sit in upright position with out it causing excruciating pain. Tendons in her legs are like rubberbands pulled as tight as they will go, her toes are deformed and that happened around age 7 or 8. I could go on and on but if anyone out there has any ideas I am all ears and eternally greatful! Sorry if I already introduced myself....things really are out of sorts.
Thanks for listening.........

Dear Brokenhearted Mom,

I am so sorrry for both you and your daughter, since it sounds like you both have multiple issues. I am not familiar with the conditions you describe, as far as what the symptoms are, but I know that your daughter's pain must be heartbreaking for you. How old is your daughter? Does she take anything for pain or do any physical therapy? What type of physician[s] treat her? I feel sure you have come to the right place, since there are many experts here at NeuroTalk, and there are many different boards that you can obtain information from. Hang in here and stay with us! Caring for you - billie

Hello Clarity 28,

I commend you for all that you do for your daughter. I have a daughter and she is a the joy of my life. I have a sister in law with Lupus and a daughter in law being tested. I live with a chronic pain condition.

Life is tough and isn't always fair. If you don't have a relationship with God. I encourage you to attend a church in your area. If you do Trust in the Lord and he will give you peace. Philippians chapter 4 verse 13 tells us "I can do all things through Christ who srengthens me." Spend some time in God's word and he will give you peace. He offers a peace that passes all understanding.

If you want to talk click on my name in this thread and it will take you to my profile and you can leave me a message.

I know life is tough and sometimes seems unfair the people here at NT are loving and supportive.

May God pour his blessings upon you,
Sherrie

Default Bless Your Hearts...

I am wishing comfort to reach you and your daughter soon. I am sorry for all you have both gone through. It is difficult enough to deal with all of your medical issues, let alone deal with you dd's as well. As moms we just don't think we have time to be the sick one. Then life plays a dirty trick on us, and blind sides us.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
