Default can some help plz

hi everyone im new to the site and just wondered if somebody can help or has anyone experianced the same thing.
Well to cut a long story short my brother has heart problems and was in hospital for the fisrt year of his life, he is now 4 and still visits the hospital regulary, he's had many heart operations and has developmental delay.
Some doctors put the developmental delay down to being hospitalised for along time and being on ventilator alot of times. He was also sedated for a hell of a long time too. But other doctors dont think his developmental delay is due to this and maybe somthing else. He cant have an mri scan of his brain coz he has a pace maker, he has had ct scans of his brain when he was smaller, they thought he had an extra channel on his brain or it was maybe a little brighter, we dont no much about brains as everythink is focussed on his heart.
Im just wondering if anyone has heard of this coz we cant find any information about it. we would be very gratful thank you
xxxx
sorri if ive posted this twice im not sure what im doing hahaa x

Lots of hugs for you and your brother.

I'm glad you found our site. There's lots of caring people here who will want to share what they can to try to answer your questions.

I don't have any personal experience on your situation right now. I'll look around and ask a pediatric nurse. They're pretty smart. I'm sure you know that already.

I know you and your family are very worried about the little tiker. Sounds like he has been sick a lot. Sometimes a special family member will bring family closer together.

I think you'll get a lot of info and support here. There's a lot of resourceful helpers here.

Post as often as you like. No question is too silly.
