Default Hello

Hello everyone, I am hoping to get help and help others on these message boards.

I am a 30-yr old with a nerve sheath tumor (or less likely a cyst) on my L5 nerve root. The neurologist thinks it is likely a scwannoma but I have to see a neurosurgeon. If anyone has experience with a similar situation, I would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks again.

Welcome to NT

No I don't have tumors or cysts that I know of, and on the L5. Ummmm. They can be anywhere.

This is the spinal disorder forum to get you started

I hope you do well with your care.

Hello Zaria and Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Sorry to hear about everything that you are currently going through! I don't have any first hand knowledge of what you are dealing with so can't help you there unfortunately but if you ever want someone to talk to / some help with the forum etc, please don't hesitate to ask - i'd be more than happy to help you!

Good Luck with your appt with the Neurosurgeon - I hope you get some answers and help!

Take care!

Alison
