Welcome Tuffer and congratulations on having the courage to confront and treat your depression.

I have no personal experience with Ritilan. The drug is sometimes given to folks, like me, with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) - although not specifically to deal with depression. However, as the "black dog" is a common TBI symptom, it might be worth searching our forum to see if any of the members found that it helped their mood.
