Welcome Tuffer and congratulations on having the courage to confront and treat your depression.

I have no personal experience with Ritilan. The drug is sometimes given to folks, like me, with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) - although not specifically to deal with depression. However, as the "black dog" is a common TBI symptom, it might be worth searching our forum to see if any of the members found that it helped their mood. The link is http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum92.html

Cheers

HI, and Welcome

I have never heard of Ritalin being given for depression. I always thought it was for ADHD, I guess I learned something new today.

I am wondering why your physicians didn't first offer zoloft, or welbutrin before the Ritalin. Or maybe they did??? Have you tried anything else?

Melody
