hello and welcome,
if you look around the forums and communities you could pick 1, or more, and post to them. if you know what the diagnosis (dx) is for your lesions you could find a more specific forum. i hope someone else will come along and offer advice also.

![]() In answer to your question about where to post, are you enquiring about a brain lesion already diagnosed like a tumor, or a lesion like one found in those with Multiple Sclerosis? If undiagnosed, has any doctor suggested any possible diagnosis yet? If it's a general enquiry, you could always post in our General Health Forum. Here's the direct link to that one : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum2.html

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies
I hope I am doing this correctly Well I had a CT scan and then an MRI, and it was confirmed yesterday that it is a Meningioma. According to the doctor it is most likely benign, but it is big, and that is why I have been having headaches. I just wondered if anyone else has had a Meningioma removed sugically, and what thei experiences were with the surgery, recovery, etc |

Yes, I have known some-one who had a meningioma surgically removed, but we no longer keep in contact because we both moved states, and keeping in contact just didn't happen .... even though we both had the best intentions. I'd like to tell you that he's doing well, but I can't, because I just don't know..
I did a quick search for you here on NeuroTalk, and apart from your own query, I did find some other threads/posts that discussed the same thing. I suggest you check them out to see if anyone else had similar concerns to your own. Here's a link to that list : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/se...ery=meningioma I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to help you more, but I do hope some-one else will come along with more information than I've been able to.
