I'm so sorry to hear of your accident. My husband is (much) older than you and still plays very actively on a softball team. It is slow pitch and he pitches and I've always been fearful of him getting a direct hit .... so far he has not.
When you were hit, did it knock you unconcious? I was just wondering. I'm trying to visualise your predicament and am curious how hard you were hit.

I see you've found the forum specific to this discussion and just want to send you my best wishes......I am one to always hang on to hope.
I do not know much about concussions, so am unable to give much valuable input. My heart goes out to you and I hope you stick around and keep us updated....

Just real curious if you were knocked unconsious, if so - how long were you out? And have you had MRI ?

Hello Rrae,

I was not unconscious...ct and mri were normal...I do remember feeling kind of dazed immediately but did not link it to concussion until I had the disoriented, spaced=out, confused episode at work a week later...
