New here
Hi my name is Stefanija, I just found this community today I suffer with borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, panic and anxiety disorder, sleep apnea, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia as well as long term substance abuse issues. I came here searching for more mental health support. Currently I see a therapist weekly and am in a weekly Dbt class and have found adult coloring helpful. The only med I'm on is lexapro and I'm having difficulties now having my colonipin . Things are daily getting worse for me and it's very hard for me to socialize with any family members, emotions of sadness get too overwhelming for me I hide out away from family and have avoided socail engagements for many years. I cry till I throw up around upcoming social situations. I need help, things are getting very bad. I have never been to a
Mental hospital but I am on ssi for my problems.

Hello Stefanija and Welcome to Neurotalk Support Groups,

I am sorry you are dealing with so much physical and emotional discomfort. That is a lot to carry day to day. You have found a supportive place though with many understanding people.

It is great that you are going to therapy and DBT. If you can reach out to your family and socialize just a little bit it will help as well. Remember to take baby steps, plan something simple, even if it is just an email or phone call instead of an outing. Any other low impact activities that get you out of the house and normal routine are good for helping switch gears. This can be as low key as getting out to watch a sunset. Don't feel bad for not doing big activities. Start low, congratulate yourself and build from there.

You might find the following areas of NT helpful.

Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue
General Mental Health and Emotional Support
Depression

Search and FAQ at the top of every page will help you look up specific topics and answer common forum usage questions.

Please make yourself at home and explore. There are several areas for general support in addition to those for anxiety and depression.

I hope you find relief and comfort soon.
