Thumbs up Hello.

I have just found this site a few minutes ago and was amazed at the amount of info.. available.I am hooked!! I am a type 2 diabetic and in 2008 I suffered a massive heart attack which led to a triple bypass operation, before my surgery my Doctors told me that I had a 10-15% chance of survival but with God's help, a wonderful family, and Great Doctors.I pulled through. I know the key to my rapid recovery was I reprogrammed my mind to deal with the situation one day at a time, block out the negative thoughts and listen to my body. I always repeat this to myself when I am in need of emotional strength: WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR LOWEST THE BEST IN YOU SHOULD COME OUT. These are some of the tools I have used to recover. God and Willpower=SUCCESS!!! I hope this can help someone who is having the same problem.
Thank you.

Hi there.

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi and Welcome

I'm a type 2 diabetic also. I am happy that you are recovering so nicely. As for me, for the past 8 or 9 days I have been suffering with TMJ, the headache from heck, and the tooth and I finally found a med that helped with the headache. I tried Excedrin Migraine (I have never had a migraine in my life, so I wouldn't now what one felt like, but this was close enough).

I looked up "can a toothache be caused by TMJ?" and not only can it, but a change in barometric pressure can also cause this.

I have osteoarthritis so I know PAIN.

But I come here and post, and find new people and say hi and then I feel better.

It's what we do for others that makes us become who we truly can be.

So I hope you are having a nice 4th of July weekend.

Take care and again 'WELCOME"

Melody

Welcome! I love this quote above. Excellent. Thanks for sharing it.

I find this is true for so many of us with illness and disorders of any kind. We need less stress in our life, live one day at a time, and not let the small stuff bother us. That includes people with negative or angry attitudes. We must be positive in all things.

Nice to meet you.

Hi Melody.I stopped by to say hello ahd hope that you are doing much better with the TMJ and the Osteoarthritis. Please take care of the diabetes. it causes so many different problems in the body I believe that was one of reason I got a heart attack my sugar was not controlled for a long time which led to high blood pressure those two with a high stress level did it. A Doctor told me that when blood sugar is high the blood becomes thick and blood pressure goes up because the heart is not getting the blood it needs, in time this could lead to a heart attack.Take care.
