Hi, and welcome to NT! This is such a great place with many helpful, caring, and friendly people.

We're so glad you found us!

I'm so sorry about your father-in-law, and I am sorry that your mother-in-law is going through this.

My husband had a kidney removed Jan 09 and six months later they found tumors in his lungs. They've tried him on one chemotherapy, and he's just started the second chemotherapy. For metastatic kidney cancer, they have four chemotherapies, and that's it. It's incurable, so he's going to have to remain on chemo the rest of his life. It is so very scary, and I know what you're going through.

Heart Thoughts & Prayers

I am so sorry of the news you have given us.

It is so hard to recover from the lose of a dear love one. I lost my father in 1972 which was lung cancer. It was so hard because I was a daddy's girl. One thing that did happen and my father was so happy is that mom & I developed a tight friendship. I lost her 1998 to cancer, but at least she had some fun times with our children and on of our grandkids. Just think of the good times you had to be with him and enjoy time with her.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Darlene
