Hello and welcome to NT
So sorry you have not had any replies to your post on the welcome forum. As part of the welcome team, I apologize. Sometimes everyone is busy or may not be familiar with what you're going through. I don't have experience with brain aneurysms but I do have a big heart for someone else who is going through it. Here's a hug for you and him. ![]() Here is a link to the brain forum here at NT. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum92.html We also have a caregivers forum. Here is that link: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum56.html I can tell you my mom had a stroke on Christmas morning in 1997. She has left side paralysis. Well, as time went on, she has not fully recovered, but she has recovered a lot very slowly over the years. The brain takes a long time to heal. She has recently had a heart attack (3 weeks ago) and now is in rehab and the therapist is working on her left leg to and she can raise it up and bend at the knees. it's a big improvement for her. Don't give up. Take it one day at a time. Sounds pretty serious. I hope he recovers and gets good treatment. It must be a lot to deal with at this time. Take care of yourself too.
